Cambridge Police responded to a business to document a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle report. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting person, who stated on 3/27/2018 between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., an unknown suspect gained access to her motor vehicle without her knowledge and/or consent, while it was parked unattended inside a parking garage and stole her laptop computer.

Cambridge Police responded to a department store for the report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival, Police were met by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer, who observed a female suspect via the store surveillance cameras conceal a black backpack in her purse and proceed to the dressing room to remove the anti-theft device with a magnet. The female suspect was identified as Teresa Baker, 39, 31 Jefferson Avenue in Chelsea. Baker was taken into custody without incident and charged with Shoplifting $100 by Concealing Merchandise and Unlawful Possession of a Theft Detection Devise Remover.
