MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Ruben Ochoa, 47, 1 Hancock Street in Somerville, was placed under arrest and charged with Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol. Ochoa was involved in a motor vehicle crash at the 1300 block of Massachusetts Ave. When officers arrived on scene, Ochoa was asleep behind the wheel of his motor vehicle. When officers woke him up, he had a strong odor of alcoholic beverages coming from his breath, slurred speech, and glassy eyes. Officers then conducted a field sobriety test with Ochoa and he showed multiple indicators that he was impaired on alcohol. Ochoa was then placed under arrest.

Units responded to a Massachusetts Avenue coffee shop for unattended bags. The Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit responded and cleared the bag and deemed it to be safe. It was determined by one of the employees that the bags belonged to a local homeless person.

Cambridge Police observed a suspicious person on Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square. Upon further investigation, Fidel Lledin, Jr., 29, 402 Mass Ave. in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for stalking and criminal harrassment.

Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit responded to the Main Street side of a hotel for an unattended backpack in a food court. Upon my arrival, Officers were informed there was no threat made or any other suspicious activity involving the back pack. The K-9 cleared the backpack, as it contained a bottle of vodka and a wallet.
