Paul Ankuda, 58, homeless of Cambridge, was arrested for Defacing and
Damaging Property after he set several yard waste bags and recycling
containers on fire on Ash Street and Ash Street Place. He also set trash
containers on Mass. Ave. near Church Street and Brattle Street at Hilliard Street
on fire. On Mass. Ave. near Dunster Street, he set a free paper container on
fire. When he was being questioned he opened a bottle of alcohol and drank it
in front of several officers.

and run occurred involving his company's van. There was damage caused to the
front driver's side quarter and wheel. This accident occurred between 07:00
a.m. and 09:28 a.m. The suspect vehicle fled without exchanging information.
