Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue/River Street for reports of a road rage incident involving the display of a firearm. A vehicle matching the make, model, and registration as provided by the victim/reporting party to Cambridge Police Emergency Communications was stopped. The operator and the motor vehicle were searched for weapons, yielding no result. The operator was identified and offered medical attention, which he refused and was sent on his way.

Cambridge Police took a report regarding an IRS scam. A male, who works in Cambridge, purchased $6,500 in Apple gift cards and transferred the money to somebody pretending to work for the IRS.

Members of the Special Investigation Unit placed Mathew Henebury, 47, 70 Boston Street in Somerville, under arrest for the Possession of Class B (cocaine) at the corner of Pearl Street and Franklin Streets. SIU units, after a brief surveillance and a investigative stop and inquiry, observed Henebury discard a rock of cocaine to the ground. Henebury was placed under arrest.
