WARRANT ARREST REPORT

Jean Griffin, 41, 15 Corwin Street in Boston, was placed under arrest at Dorchester District Court for a warrant by members of the Cambridge Police Department, Boston Police Department and United States Marshalls Service. He was transported to the Boston Police Department for a courtesy booking and then conveyed to Cambridge Police Headquarters via the Patrol Wagon without incident. He was booked in the normal process.

Cambridge Police responded to Cambridge City Hall for a hit and run report. The reporting party stated that at approximately 12:50 p.m., an unknown suspect struck her vehicle then fled without making themselves known to the victim. The incident took place in the vicinity of Washington Street. There were no reported injuries or witnesses.

A Brookline resident reports that on 5/23 her motor vehicle was side-swiped and damaged while driving on Granite Street. The suspect operator never stopped and continued driving towards Brookline Street without exchanging insurance information. No injuries were reported.

Cesar Guerra-Jaime, 26, 19 Derby Street in Waltham, was observed making an Improper Left Turn at Massachusetts Avenue and Prospect Street, which is a public road owned and maintained by the City of Cambridge. Upon further investigation it was discovered that Guerra-Jaime was also operating a motor vehicle without a license. Guerra-Jaime was arrested and charged with Improper Turn and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

A Cambridge resident reports being contacted by an unknown suspect attempting to gain access to the resident’s bank accounts via the telephone. The victim states the suspect has called the resident numerous times stating the has won the grand prize of Winners International. The resident did supply the suspect with bank account information.

A warrant check was performed and Nicholas Burke-Dash, 28, 69 Linnea Street in Brockton, was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Roxbury District Court for Malicious Destruction of Property $1,200+, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Resisting Arrest and Threatening to Commit a Crime.

Siarhei Filiok, 36, 21 Washington Street in Old Orchard Beach, ME, was placed under arrest for possession of Class A (Heroin), Shoplifting +250, Removal of a Security Device, and Resisting Arrest. Filiok was observed by loss prevention of a Cambridge store attempting to exit the store without paying for $791.96 worth of merchandise. It was also observed by loss prevention that Filiok had removed the electronic security device from at least one of the items. Filiok was found to be in possession of a small corner of a glassine baggie, which was filled with a brown powdered substance consistent in appearance and character with heroin. When told he was being placed under arrest, Filiok began to fight officers in an attempt to flee the store. It took three officers several minutes to contain Filiok in order to effectuate the arrest. Once back at the station for booking it was also discovered that Filiok had a warrant for his arrest out of Boston.
