MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police units responded to a Massachusetts Avenue pharmacy for a report of a shoplifting. A suspect had concealed numerous merchandise items into a bag and fled the store without paying for the items. As of this time, the suspect has not been located.

Kari Pereira, 40, 14 Mt. Vernon Street in Lynn, Michael Wolfe, 43, 5 Temple Street in Cambridge, and Ezekiel Heterwegscheider, 24, 4 Union Street in Shelbourne, were placed under arrest for Unarmed Robbery and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Shod Foot. Pereira asked the victim for a cigarette. And upon the victim refusing, Pereira spit in his face two times causing the victim to throw his hands up in defense and dropped his Samsung cell phone. As he reached down to pick up his cell phone, Pereira and Wolfe each simultaneously kicked him in the face with a Shod Foot and began beating on him. Heterwegscheider then approached and kicked the victim in the face. Pereira then fled with the victim’s cell phone as the victim pursued her. During her flight, she handed the phone off to an unknown male who fled into the Cambridge Needle Exchange on Green Street. At this time, Pereira and Wolfe approached the victim and assaulted him again and then fled into the needle exchange upon police arrival. The cell phone was later found next to a bag that Pereira was packing up.

Cambridge Police were dispatched to Bishop Allen and Inman Street for a report of threats. Upon arrival, officers spoke to a resident who wanted to report that another male in his sixties was harassing and threatening him.

Cambridge Police received a fax containing a Springfield Police Report regarding an Identity Theft. In the report the victim reported that on 12/21/17 an unknown person opened a Barclay credit card in his name and the credit card was used to purchase $2,122.88 in merchandise at phone store in Cambridge.

Nisa Chamblin, 26, 230 Prospect Street in Cambridge, was arrested on the above date and time for throwing a soda can and striking an individual known to her. The victim was struck on the left side of his face, causing a small laceration. The incident took place at Mass Ave.

James Bonaventure, 24, 8 Kimball Court in Burlington, was placed under arrest for operating after suspension after being stopped by Cambridge Police for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. After a brief investigation, a passenger in the motor vehicle, Tea Cecere-Frugosos, 20, 18 Marlborough Street in Chelsea, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute class D after she claimed ownership of marijuana and drug paraphernalia that was located in the vehicle.
