06/26/2018 02:23 INCIDENT 18004248 ROBBERY, ARMED c265 s17	HOWARD ST Cambridge Police responded to Western Avenue and Howard Street for a reported armed robbery in progress. A visitor to Cambridge had his backpack stolen by two individuals who referenced having a gun, but no gun was seen during the robbery.
06/26/2018 07:01 INCIDENT 18004251 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	FOLLEN ST A Cambridge resident called CPD to report his bike stolen. The bike was locked to a pole across from his residence and the lock was cut.
06/26/2018 08:10 INCIDENT 18004252 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	ELIOT Jeffrey Bailey, 24, of 31 Davison Street, Hyde Park, was arrested on a warrant out of Brookline District Court for Shoplifting by Asportation. Bailey was also arrested for two counts of receiving stolen property, bicycles, after he was observed walking two bicycles on Eliot Street in Harvard Square and gave multiple inconsistent statements as to why he was in possession of two bicycles.

06/26/2018 09:07 INCIDENT 18004253 OPENING A DOOR WHEN UNSAFE (INTO TRAFFIC, BICYCLIS	MASSACHUSETTS AVE A bicyclist approached a Cambridge Police cruiser in Central Square to seek assistance following a bicycle accident. The bicyclist had sustained minor injuries when a motorist parked and opened their door into the bike lane. The operator of the vehicle was identified and mailed a citation.
06/26/2018 09:10 INCIDENT 18004255 UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV c90 S10	CAMBRIDGE ST Cambridge Police responded to Cambridge Street near the intersection of Warren Street for a two car motor vehicle crash. Once on-scene, officers discovered that one of the operators had been living in Massachusetts for three years but did not have a valid Massachusetts Driver's License. The other operator complained of minor injuries. Mirian Dos Santos, 37, of 18 Russell Street, Malden, was placed under arrest for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. As statements from those involved indicated Dos Santos had been using a cell phone at the time of the crash she was also cited for Unsafe Operation.

06/26/2018 10:16 INCIDENT 18004259 *STOP/YIELD, FAIL TO C89 S9**	VASSAR ST A MIT Police Officer was struck by a motor vehicle while on detail on Vassar Street and suffered minor injuries. As a result of an investigation, the operator of the motor vehicle was cited for failing to stop and an immediate threat/medical assessment was sent to the registry of motor vehicles.

06/26/2018 11:25 INCIDENT 18004261 MISC. REPORT TYPE	BAY ST Cambridge Police units were dispatched to Franklin Street at Bay Street for a motor vehicle crash involving a cyclist. The cyclist was transported to the hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.

06/26/2018 16:06 ARREST 18004266 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police stopped a suspicious person in front of a Mass Ave retail establishment. As a result of the stop, Cambridge Police arrested Leon Ferguson, 36, of 150 Erie Street, Cambridge for a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended/Revoked License.

06/26/2018 16:33 INCIDENT 18004267 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	BEECH ST A suspicious package was called in to police on Beech Street It was cleared by Explosive Ordinance Unit K9.
06/26/2018 16:56 INCIDENT 18004269 UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV c90 S10	MASSACHUSETTS AVE A resident of Quincy was issued a criminal summons for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Use of Electronic Device while Operating (Two Hands on Cell Phone) after he was observed operating a motor vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue while holding a cell phone in both hands (no hands on steering wheel).

06/26/2018 17:47 INCIDENT 18004271 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	VASSAR ST Cambridge Police responded to Vassar Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash with injury involving multiple vehicles. The involved vehicles were located and the injured party refused medical treatment.
06/26/2018 18:07 INCIDENT 18004274 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$1200, WANTON C266 S127	COGSWELL AVE Cambridge Police units responded to two separate calls for a suspicious male in the area of Walden Street and Cogswell Avenue. The suspect was not located but a wanton destruction of property report was taken after the suspect broke a fence that he had jumped over.
06/26/2018 18:24 ARREST 18004272 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Sean O'Shea, 45, of 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was arrested at Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street on a warrant issued out of Cambridge District Court for Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, and Disorderly Conduct.

06/26/2018 18:58 INCIDENT 18004280 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	BROOKLINE ST Cambridge Police responded to a report of a past hit and run with property damage. The involved vehicle was located in a parking lot on Brookline Street. The reporting person stated that their vehicle was damaged on Tuesday June 26, 2018 between the hours of 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
06/26/2018 19:59 INCIDENT 18004278 INNKEEPER, DEFRAUD, OVER $100 c140 S12	CAMBRIDGE ST Cambridge Police placed Joseph Matthews, 41, of 26 Popular Street, Dorchester, under arrest for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Defrauding an Innkeeper, and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Matthews ran from officers after leaving a restaurant without paying and ran through the streets, backing up traffic and causing a scene. Prior to arrest Mr. Matthews tripped an officer while in pursuit.

06/26/2018 23:01 INCIDENT 18004284 THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME c275 S2	LINCOLN WAY Cambridge Police were dispatched to a Lincoln Way address for a threats report.
06/26/2018 23:37 MISSING PERSON 18004288 MISSING PERSON	RINDGE AVE Cambridge Police responded to Rindge Avenue for a report of a missing person. The missing person was later located at a Cambridge hospital. He had gone for a walk and fallen, and been taken to the hospital by a Good Samaritan.
06/26/2018 23:40 INCIDENT 18004287	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a report of shoplifting.
