Cambridge Police arrested Mohamed Farsab, 22, of 216 Franklin Street, Cambridge
for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Farsab was observed by
Cambridge Police Officers striking a man over the head with a leather belt.
Farsab was apprehended by Cambridge Police Officers and transported to the
Cambridge Police Station for booking.

Officers responded to a call regarding a physical assault on Massachusetts
Avenue. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that she was physically
assaulted by an unknown female. No injuries were reported as a result of the
assault. The unknown female was later located and identified.

Concealment. The male was observed by loss prevention employees of a
Cambridgeside Place business concealing men's fragrances in a shopping bag. The
suspect was stopped outside of the business where he admitted to shoplifting
multiple men's fragrances.

A Belmont resident reported that sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., an
unknown person cut a cable lock and stole a black bicycle from Brattle Street
in Harvard Square.

Cambridge Police observed a vehicle blocking a fire hydrant on Cherry Street.
A motor vehicle stop was conducted after officers observed multiple traffic
violations. It was discovered that the operator of the motor vehicle had a
suspended license and two warrants. Khalid Allen, 24, of 11 Penn Street,
Revere, was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Boston Municipal Court
for an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a
Suspended/Revoked Registration, and a warrant out of Chelsea District Court
for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Allen was also charged with
Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Failure to Signal.
