07/08/2018 00:26 INCIDENT 18004574 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	HINGHAM ST Cambridge Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving an overturned motor vehicle. There was no personal injury as a result of the motor vehicle crash.
07/08/2018 07:27 INCIDENT 18004578 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	ASH ST Cambridge Police received a call of an unattended bag on the steps of a house on Ash Street. Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit responded cleared the bag. The bag contained clothing and nothing of value.

07/08/2018 12:28 INCIDENT 18004584 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	CLINTON ST Officers responded to a Cambridge address to document a larceny report. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting person who stated between 06/04/2018 at approximately 5 p.m. and 6/20/2018 at 10 a.m., an unknown suspect stole a woman’s mountain bicycle from the side of her residence.

The victim was reporting that his bike was stolen and that he was following the suspect but lost sight of them.

07/07/2018 11:16 INCIDENT 18004556 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	SIXTH ST A Cambridge resident came to the police station to report that her address appears for rent on an ad on Craigslist. She is not renting the apartment, but has already received three calls on it. A prospective renter tracked her down and made her aware of the ad. Her address is being used to perpetrate an apartment scam on the internet.
07/07/2018 11:30 INCIDENT 18004558 MISC. REPORT TYPE	THIRD ST Two vehicles were involved in a crash on Third Street at the intersection of Hurley Street. Minor injuries were sustained by two people involved. Both parties refused medical treatment.
07/07/2018 11:49 INCIDENT 18004557 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	BINNEY ST A Boston resident, who is an employee of a car rental agency, came to the police station to report one of their rental cars was stolen from their garage here in Cambridge.
07/07/2018 14:34 INCIDENT 18004559 SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION c266 S30A	MASSACHUSETTS AVE A Harvard Square business reported that a suspect entered the store and stole an item that was valued between $40 and $60.

07/07/2018 15:26 INCIDENT 18004560 LARCENY FROM PERSON c266 S25	MEMORIAL DR Cambridge police responded to Memorial Drive for a report of a larceny in progress.
07/07/2018 17:54 INCIDENT 18004564	BROADWAY Cambridge Police observed a male riding a bicycle on Bishop Allen Drive. The male proceeded through the intersection of Bishop Allen Drive and Columbia Street (both public ways) without stopping at the stop sign/flashing red light. The male increased his rate of speed once he noticed the unmarked police cruiser nearby. He then rode through a red light at Harvard Street and Windsor Street without stopping. Officers activated the lights and sirens in the unmarked police cruiser and attempted to stop the male on Windsor Street. The male looked back at officers, laughed, and then rode his bicycle the wrong way down Market Street, at which point officers lost sight of him. Approximately 15 minutes later, officers observed the male suspect walking at the corner of School Street and Windsor Street. The male then hid in a nearby garage. The garage owner flagged officers down and pointed out the suspect, who was placed into custody. Officers discovered that the suspect had an arrest warrant out of District Court for Disorderly Conduct, Trespassing and Threat to Commit a Crime. Lens Altidor, 18, 56 Cherry Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest and charged with the following offenses: Bicycle Violation Refuse to Identify and Bicycle Violation.
07/07/2018 18:01 ARREST 18004566 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	WINDSOR ST Cambridge Police placed Christian Lopez, 23, 47 Clifton Street in Cambridge, under arrest in regards to a warrant out of Dorchester District Court.
07/07/2018 18:14 INCIDENT 18004563 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30	THORNDIKE ST A Connecticut resident came to the police station to report that between 6/30/18 and 7/7/18, he had been the victim of a sub-leasing scam in the area of East Cambridge.
07/07/2018 18:28 ARREST 18004567 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	WINDSOR ST Kyree Johnson, 19, 18 Copley Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Armed Robbery and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
07/07/2018 22:00 INCIDENT 18004571 TRESPASS c266 S120	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to the area of the Massachusetts Avenue for a report of an unwanted male at a restaurant. Upon arrival, the man left one restaurant and entered another. Officers entered the restaurant after him. After a brief conversation with the male party, he was asked to leave. He refused and after several more attempts to have the male leave on his own, officers attempted to escort the male off the premises. The male continued to verbally resist and became physically resistant toward the officers’ attempts to remove him. Ultimately the male was forcefully removed and placed under arrest for trespassing and disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The male offender had no identification and refused to cooperate with officers throughout the booking process. It was ultimately determined the man was Brian Merchant, 52, 425 Broadway in Cambridge.

07/06/2018 00:22 INCIDENT 18004525 IDENTIFY SELF/ FALSE, MV OPERATOR REFUSE C90 S25	MASSACHUSETTS AVE A Boston resident was summonsed for failure to obey a police officer; provided a false name and address, operating with a suspended license, marked lane violation and failing to wear a seat belt in the area of Massachusetts Avenue.
07/06/2018 07:35 INCIDENT 18004531 UNINSURED MOTOR VEHICLE C90 S34J	GENERAL LOCATIONS IN CAMBRIDGE A Cambridge resident was issued a criminal application for allowing his motor vehicle to be parked without a valid registration and current insurance policy.
07/06/2018 08:18 INCIDENT 18004526 ROBBERY, UNARMED c265 S19	CHURCH ST Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue at Church Street for an assault in progress report. The victim of the assault reported while standing outside a shelter, waiting for a bed, he was approached by a black male with dreads, wearing glasses, who stood approximately 6 feet tall wearing all black clothing, with a red bandana. He further stated that the described black male punched him in the face, took his blue suitcase, which contained his birth certificate, various clothing items, watch, necklace and black bag. The victim requested to be checked out at the hospital, where he was later transported by Pro Ambulance. A search of the immediate area for the suspects was met with negative results.

07/06/2018 10:45 INCIDENT 18004533 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a suspicious package. Upon arrival, university officials were able to confirm it was a project being used by the school to gather information and there was no hazard.

After a dispute over a parking spot, she found her vehicle was "keyed."

07/06/2018 14:18 INCIDENT 18004538 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	CHARLES ST A resident of Charles Street reports on 7/4/18 at 11 a.m. she was scammed out of $2,000 after sending wire transfers to a company out of Nigeria, which claimed they would reward her with a higher amount of money after the transfer were complete.
