08/05/2018 03:25 INCIDENT 18005391 STOP FOR POLICE, FAIL c90 S25	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers attempted to stop a yellow Audi convertible after it was observed making an illegal U-turn in front of the Harvard Square T station on Massachusetts Avenue. The operator of the Audi accelerated to a high rate of speed and ran multiple red lights in order to evade officers.

08/05/2018 11:06 INCIDENT 18005394 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	FAWCETT STREET A resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania reported being the victim of an apartment scam. After sending money to the individual advertising the apartment, the victim discovered that the apartment was rented to someone else.
08/05/2018 11:59 INCIDENT 18005395 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	LANGDON STREET A resident of Boston reported being the victim of a possible scam involving a moving company. They hired the moving company to move their belongings from Cambridge to Boston. The truck never arrived and the company is no longer answering their phone.

08/05/2018 13:17 INCIDENT 18005397 ATTEMPT TO COMMIT CRIME c274 S6	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A resident of Cambridge reported that an unknown suspect attempted to use their credit cards after they lost their wallet in Central Square on August 4. The wallet was returned, but the victim’s credit, debit, and identification cards remain missing.
08/05/2018 15:17 INCIDENT 18005400 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	BOWDOIN STREET Officers responded to a Bowdoin Street residence for a hit and run report. After further investigation, the operator of the suspect vehicle was identified. They stated that they were unsure what to do after striking the reporting party’s vehicle and intended to return to exchange paperwork after work.

08/05/2018 19:13 INCIDENT 18005402 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	FLAGG STREET Officers responded to the area of Flagg Street for a report of a larceny that occurred between 6:00 and 7:20 p.m. The victim left their wallet on a bench near Flagg Street Park and discovered that the cash inside was missing when they returned.
08/05/2018 19:32 INCIDENT 18005404 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	WASHINGTON STREET Toni Allien, 24, 198A Brookline Street, was placed under arrest for warrants out of Cambridge District Court for Larceny under $1200, Trespass, Disturbing the Peace, and Resisting Arrest. Allien is additionally charged with Home Invasion, Armed Assault in a Dwelling, and Assault and Battery stemming from an incident earlier in the day on August 5 in which she entered the home of an acquaintance, bit the victim’s hand, and assaulted the victim with a knife over a card for a wholesale store.
08/05/2018 21:19 ARREST 18005405 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	ALBANY STREET Khayal Abalkhail, 26, 9 Liverpool Street, East Boston, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Operating a Motor Vehicle with License Suspended.
08/05/2018 21:26 INCIDENT 18005406 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue business for a report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that two male suspects had stolen several bottles of liquor and fled towards Harvard Square.
08/05/2018 23:08 INCIDENT 18005407 A&B c265 S13A	CAMBRIDGE STREET Officers responded to Cambridge Street for a report of a male being assaulted by another male after attempting to collect money. Neither party required medical care. Both were advised how to properly handle a civil claim.

08/04/2018 10:26 INCIDENT 18005374 A&B c265 S13A	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A Cambridge resident reported being the victim of an assault that took place around 7:35 a.m. The victim stated that they were jogging on Massachusetts Avenue when an unknown suspect grabbed them by the neck. The suspect is described as a black male, skinny, 5’8”, wearing a yellow shirt and black backpack.

08/04/2018 18:24 INCIDENT 18005383 A&B c265 S13A	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A Cambridge resident reported being punched in the face by an unknown male. The victim, who was driving, had stopped to yield to another vehicle when the suspect walked up to the driver’s side window and began harassing the victim. The suspect then punched the victim and ran down Norfolk Street towards Central Square, crossed Massachusetts Avenue, and continued onto Pearl Street. The suspect is described as a white male, 20 years old, wearing black pants and a black t-shirt, with a beard.
08/04/2018 19:33 ARREST 18005385 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	JFK STREET At approximately 7:33 p.m., officers responded to a JFK Street business for a report of a disturbance. Phoebe Clemens, 62, 240 Albany Street, was found causing a disturbance and threatening employees inside the store. Clemens initially identified herself under a false name, but later gave her actual identification. It was discovered that she had warrants out of Cambridge District Court for Disorderly Conduct, Trespassing, and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. She was taken into custody.
08/04/2018 20:29 INCIDENT 18005386 SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION c266 S30A	FIRST STREET Erving Nazaire, 28, 170 Albion Street 1, Somerville, was placed under arrest for Operating a Motor Vehicle with License Suspended, Shoplifting by Asportation, Receiving Stolen Property Under $1200, Operating a Motor Vehicle with Registration Revoked, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Unregistered Motor Vehicle.
08/04/2018 21:27 INCIDENT 18005387 SHOPLIFTING BY CONCEALING MDSE c266 S30A	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A resident of Cambridge was summonsed to court for shoplifting after they left a Massachusetts Avenue business with merchandise valued at $340. When the store’s loss protection officer attempted to stop the defendant from leaving the store, the defendant tried to bite them.

08/03/2018 06:09 INCIDENT 18005335 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$1200, MALICIOUS C266 S12	PUTNAM AVENUE Officers responded to a Putnam Avenue residence for a report of malicious destruction in an apartment building. The damage was done between 10:00 p.m. August 2 and 5 a.m. August 3.

08/03/2018 09:18 INCIDENT 18005337 *STOP/YIELD, FAIL TO C89 S9**	BROADWAY Rodrigues Thiago, 27, 21 Belmont Street, Everett, was observed running a red light on Hampshire Street at Broadway. After stopping him, officers discovered that Thiago was not licensed to drive. He was placed under arrest for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

08/03/2018 10:15 INCIDENT 18005339 B&E MV / BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16	PUTNAM AVENUE A Putnam Avenue resident reported that their vehicle was broken into between approximately 9:00 p.m. August 2 and 8:40 a.m. August 3, during which their credit card and other items were stolen. The credit card was later used to purchase items at a Massachusetts Avenue convenience store.
08/03/2018 10:42 INCIDENT 18005340 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	FAYERWEATHER STREET A resident of Fayerweather Street reported that their bicycle was stolen between 11:00 p.m. August 2 and 9:30 a.m. August 3. The bicycle, described as a dark purple Vita 14 with a light in the front and a back rack, was locked to the wooden banister of the victim’s residence. An unknown suspect broke the banister in order to remove the bicycle.

08/03/2018 16:28 INCIDENT 18005352 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	BROADWAY Officers responded to Broadway for a report of a stolen bicycle. The bicycle was locked to a tree at approximately 4:10 p.m., and when the owner returned around 4:30 p.m. it had been removed. The bicycle is described as a yellow and white Specialized mountain bike with a water bottle holder and a loose front reflector.
08/03/2018 17:26 INCIDENT 18005356 DRUG, DISTRIBUTE CLASS D C94C S32C	WASHINGTON STREET At approximately 5:35 p.m., officers in the area on an unrelated investigation observed two parties engaged in a street-level drug transaction in the vicinity of School and Cherry Streets. Jordan Lake, 19, 27 Newtown Court 110, was placed under arrest for Distribution of a Class D Drug and Possession to Distribute a Class D Drug. Abner Bernadeau, 21, 112 Crescent Street, Waltham, was placed under arrest for Possession to Distribute a Class D Drug. Over thirty grams of suspected marijuana was seized, along with cash and a digital scale.

08/03/2018 23:10 INCIDENT 18005369 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	PEABODY TERRACE Officers responded to a Peabody Terrace residence for a report of a hit and run. The reporting party had left their vehicle parked on Flagg Street at 6:00 p.m. July 28, and the vehicle had been damaged when the owner returned at approximately 10:30 p.m. August 3.
