Street, East Boston, was placed under arrest for Operating a Motor Vehicle
Under the Influence of Liquor after driving his vehicle up onto the sidewalk
at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Church Street and striking a pole
and cement pillar. Restrepo admitted to drinking alcohol prior to the crash.

A homeless male from Boston was
identified as a shoplifting suspect from a business in Central Square. The
suspect was observed by store employees removing his pants on the sales floor
and putting on new underwear that he took off the store shelf. He
additionally took a few more pairs of underwear and an employee’s uniform
jacket before leaving the store without paying. The suspect was trespassed
from the store and the store’s loss prevention officer will seek shoplifting
charges internally.

Officers responded to Prospect Street for a report of a fight. The two
victims stated that an unknown suspect suddenly began assaulting both of
them. The suspect, who is described as a Hispanic male in his early twenties
wearing all black, may have been causing disturbances earlier in the day in
Central Square. One victim sustained minor injuries and was cleared on the
scene, while the other was uninjured.
