The moped was described as a beige Yamaha Vino model with maroon and navy blue accents.
09/23/2018 09:40 INCIDENT 18006742 B&E MV / BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16	CREIGHTON STREET A resident of Creighton Street reported that his motor vehicle was broken into between 8:00 p.m. on September 22 and 6:45 a.m. on September 23. An unknown suspect entered through the passenger side door and stole approximately $10 in quarters from the glovebox.
09/23/2018 11:14 INCIDENT 18006743 MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO c266 S28	RINDGE AVENUE Gary Porres, 28, 51 Rindge Avenue in Cambridge, was arrested for Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle after he was observed gouging his neighbor’s vehicle with a key.

The suspect stole several items from the apartment.

09/23/2018 15:24 INCIDENT 18006747 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	WHITE STREET A Somerville resident reported a hit and run crash that resulted in damage to her vehicle between 3:00 and 3:20 p.m. while it was parked in a White Street parking lot.
09/23/2018 15:44 INCIDENT 18006748 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	PROSPECT STREET The Explosive Ordnance Unit responded to Prospect Street for a report of a suspicious item attached to a vehicle. The item was discovered to be an anti-theft device from a retail store that was locked to the reporting party’s vehicle by two unknown suspects. The device was cleared and removed from the vehicle.

09/23/2018 17:13 INCIDENT 18006753 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	CONCORD AVENUE The Explosive Ordnance Unit responded for a report of an unattended bag on Concord Avenue. The bag was cleared with the help of K9s. It was found to be empty and disposed of.
09/23/2018 17:45 INCIDENT 18006755 DISORDERLY CONDUCT c272 S53	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Romel Abraham, 56, 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery and Disorderly Conduct after it was reported that he had punched a victim in the face. Abraham continued to yell and act aggressively while officers attempted to investigate what had occurred.
09/23/2018 21:12 INCIDENT 18006759 A&B c265 S13A	LAMBERT STREET Officers responded to Lambert Street for a report of an assault. The victim was evaluated by ambulance personnel but did not require further treatment.

09/22/2018 04:26 INCIDENT 18006714 B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY c266 S16	KINNAIRD STREET Officers responded to a Kinnaird Street residence for a report of a breaking and entering. The two suspects fled when the victim noticed them attempting to climb in the window and screamed.
09/22/2018 09:15 INCIDENT 18006716 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	CAMBRIDGE STREET A resident of Wilmington reported a hit and run crash that occurred on September 4. The reporting party was parked and another vehicle was attempting to park in the space behind her. While doing so, the other driver rear-ended the reporting party’s vehicle several times, leaving a puncture hole in her bumper.

The bicycle, which was described as a black Specialized Alibi Sport model, was taken between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on September 19.
09/22/2018 13:21 INCIDENT 18006718 SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION c266 S30A	ALEWIFE BROOK PARKWAY An Alewife Brook Parkway business reported a shoplifting incident that took place at approximately 12:45 p.m. A male suspect was observed taking several designer handbags from a rack and exiting the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise. The suspect fled on a bicycle.

09/22/2018 14:35 INCIDENT 18006723 MISC. REPORT TYPE	ROOSEVELT TOWERS Officers responded to a Roosevelt Towers residence regarding a possible breaking and entering to the apartment. It was determined that Cambridge Housing Authority had conducted an inspection of the apartment while the resident was away.
09/22/2018 15:04 INCIDENT 18006721 A&B WITH DANGEROUS WEAPON +60 C265 S15A	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Jaavon Rodriguez, 24, homeless, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery on a Person Over 60, Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon, Malicious Destruction of Property Over $1200, and Armed Assault to Murder. Rodriguez instigated a disturbance in which he punched a bystander with a closed fist, pushed a person over the age of 60 to the ground, and kicked this victim while on the ground. Rodriguez was restrained by several witnesses, one of whom observed him reach into his pocket and pull out a folding knife. This knife was taken away and secured by the witness, who turned it over to officers after their arrival.

09/22/2018 15:58 INCIDENT 18006724 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	CAMBRIDGE STREET A resident of Revere reported a hit and run that occurred while driving on Cambridge Street. The reporting party turned into a parking lot to exchange paperwork with the other driver. The other driver followed the reporting party, began yelling at her and acting aggressively, and then drove away. The reporting party’s vehicle sustained noticeable damage, but there were no injuries.

09/22/2018 16:18 INCIDENT 18006727 A&B WITH DANGEROUS WEAPON c265 S15A	CONCORD AVENUE A resident of Cambridge was summonsed to court for Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon, and a resident of Malden was summonsed for Assault and Battery on a Person Over 60. The summonses were the result of an altercation that occurred between a cable technician and a customer.

09/22/2018 16:34 INCIDENT 18006726 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	PROSPECT STREET Bilal Eddaif, 18, 154 Prospect Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Motor Vehicle Lights Violation, and Failure to Wear Seat Belt.
09/22/2018 16:46 INCIDENT 18006730 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	COLUMBIA STREET Officers responded for a report of a larceny. The reporting party’s bicycle was stolen from under the back steps of a Columbia Street residence sometime between September 21 and 12:00 p.m. on September 22. The bicycle is described as a maroon Masi model with straight yellow handlebars.
09/22/2018 18:05 INCIDENT 18006731 MISC. REPORT TYPE	RAYMOND STREET Officers responded to the area of Raymond Street and Sheridan Street for a report of a motor vehicle idling for a substantial amount of time. A tow truck arrived and the operator was able to turn off the vehicle and lock the doors. Because the vehicle was legally parked and locked with the engine off, it was not towed. A citation was mailed to the vehicle owner.
09/22/2018 18:27 INCIDENT 18006732 LARCENY FROM PERSON c266 S25	GARDEN STREET Officers responded for a larceny in progress in the Harvard Square area. The suspect stole cash from a homeless individual who was panhandling and then led the victim on a foot chase. The chase ended when the suspect dropped the money, which was recovered by the victim.
09/22/2018 20:23 INCIDENT 18006735 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	RINDGE AVENUE Officers responded to the area of Rindge Avenue and Clifton Street for a larceny of a motor vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was taken from Clifton Street between approximately 3:30 and 8:00 p.m. The contents of the vehicle included the victim’s wallet, driver’s license, credit cards, medical cards, general paperwork, and vehicle paperwork.
09/22/2018 23:13 INCIDENT 18006737 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	INMAN STREET Officers responded to an Inman Street residence for a report of a larceny. The reporting party’s black Specialized Dolce mountain bike was stolen between 8:15 and 11:15 p.m. while locked to a parking meter on Inman Street. The U-lock used to secure it was also missing.
09/22/2018 23:33 INCIDENT 18006736 ROBBERY, ARMED c265 s17	SUFFOLK STREET Officers responded for a report of an armed robbery. A Cambridge resident was robbed by two male suspects, one of whom brandished a knife. The victim stated that the only thing taken was $20 in cash and he was not injured.

09/21/2018 12:47 INCIDENT 18006697 RESIST ARREST C268 S32B	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Francis Hill, 26, 68 Bradford Road in Watertown, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Somerville District Court for Malicious Destruction of Property Under $1200, Breaking and Entering for Misdemeanor, Larceny Under $1200, Assault With a Dangerous Weapon, and Armed Robbery. After behaving aggressively towards officers and kicking one officer during the arrest, Hill was additionally charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest.

An unknown witness to the crash left the reporting party a note with details about the suspect vehicle. The note stated that a truck was observed side-swiping the victim’s vehicle while traveling west on Massachusetts Avenue, causing heavy damage to the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle.

The reporting party was meeting the suspect to sell him a watch, and after completing the exchange, the reporting party noticed that the bills he’d received appeared to be counterfeit.

09/21/2018 18:14 INCIDENT 18006709 MISC. REPORT TYPE	RUSSELL STREET Cambridge Police, Animal Control, and Fire/EMS responded to a Russell Street residence for a report of a dog bite. The victim’s dog had gotten into a fight with a neighbor’s dog, and when the victim attempted to separate them, she was bitten by the neighbor’s dog. The neighbor was able to secure her dog back into her residence and remained on scene. The victim, whose arm was bleeding from several visible injuries, did not require transportation to the hospital via ambulance but stated that she would seek medical attention on her own.
09/21/2018 19:48 INCIDENT 18006711 ROBBERY, UNARMED c265 S19	ALEWIFE BROOK PARKWAY A loss prevention officer at a department store reported a shoplifting incident. A female suspect who had stolen from the store multiple times in the past returned and shoplifted again. When the reporting party confronted the suspect, she punched him in the face to avoid apprehension and fled into a waiting vehicle.
