Cambridge Police responded to the rear of Massachusetts Avenue on a report of a suspicious package. Upon arrival and investigation, the package was cleared by the Explosives Ordnance Unit.

Cambridge Police responded to a Kirkland Street address to document a larceny report. An unknown suspect reportedly entered a resident’s employee motor vehicle this morning and stole his two cellular telephones while the motor vehicle was unoccupied.

Officers observed Christopher Loucks, 32, homeless, pass by them on a bicycle. Loucks was believed to have and later confirmed to have warrants. He was arrested for warrants out of Waltham District Court for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Cambridge District Court for Receiving a Stolen Credit Car, Resisting Arrest and Furnishing a False Identification.

Cambridge Police responded for a reported hit and run motor vehicle crash with possible injuries at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Prospect Street. The suspect motor vehicle fled the scene of the crash, but was later located on a nearby side street. The male operator of the suspect vehicle fled the area on foot and was not located. The female passenger was stopped and identified.
