Officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue store for a report of a fight in progress. The altercation involved three individuals who were arguing over a cell phone. All parties were separated and sent on their way.

Officers responded to a construction site on Broadway for a report of a larceny that occurred between approximately 4:30 p.m. on October 6 and 7:13 a.m. on October 9. Materials and supplies worth thousands of dollars were stolen from the site.

Officers responded to the area of Cambridge Street for a report of an unattended suitcase locked to a bike rack. The suitcase was examined by Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians and found to contain no hazardous materials. The lock was cut off and the suitcase removed.

WESTERN AVENUE

A resident of Western Avenue reported his bicycle stolen from a bike rack behind his residence between approximately 7:00 p.m. on October 8 and 10:00 a.m. on October 9. The bicycle, which is described as a gray Brooklyn road bike, was secured with a U-lock, which was left on the rack along with the front tire when the rest of the bicycle was stolen.

A resident of Maryland reported hit and run damage to his rental car that occurred while it was parked on Main Street near Ames Street. The reporting party was present for the crash and alerted the suspect driver, requesting that he stop in order to exchange information, but the driver ignored him and drove away.

Officers responded to a parking garage on Cambridgeside Place for a report of malicious destruction of property. The reporting party had parked her vehicle in the garage at 6:05 p.m. and returned at 8:58 p.m. to find the passenger side window shattered. Nothing has been reporting stolen at this time.

FIREARM WITHIN 500 FT OF DWELLING c131 S58

PINE STREET

At approximately 10:58 p.m., officers responded to the corner of Pine and Washington Streets for multiple reports of shots fired resulting in personal injury. A gunshot victim was quickly located and transported to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
