Officers responded to Walden Street for a report of a motor vehicle
roll-over. The elderly driver, who did not sustain major injuries, stated
that she was distracted by a navigational app on her cell phone. Several
vehicles, including the driver’s, were severely damaged and required towing.
The driver was issued a citation for Speeding and Unsafe Operation of a Motor
Vehicle and was transported to the hospital via ambulance for further
evaluation.
