Vandalism after a witness observed him smash the windows on a construction

motor vehicle that occurred while it was parked in her driveway between 12:00
and 5:00 a.m. on October 15. Loose change and a laptop were stolen from the
vehicle. The laptop was later found in the reporting party’s neighbor’s yard.

A resident of Belmont reported a breaking and entering to his motor vehicle
that occurred between approximately 4:10 p.m. on October 14 and October 16.
An iPad and a wallet containing credit cards, a debit card, a driver’s
license, and a small amount of cash were taken from the unlocked vehicle
while it was parked on Huron Avenue.

Officers responded for a motor vehicle crash involving an individual in a
wheelchair. A vehicle parked legally near the crosswalk obstructed the views
of the driver and the victim, causing the vehicle to strike the victim as she
utilized the crosswalk. The victim did not sustain life-threatening injuries
but was transported to the hospital via ambulance as a precaution. The driver
remained on scene and was cited for failure to stop for a person in a
wheelchair in a crosswalk.
