10/21/2018 08:09 INCIDENT 18007490-1 BURGLARY, UNARMED c266 S15	ACORN STREET Officers responded to an Acorn Street residence for a report of a breaking and entering that occurred between 11:00 p.m. on October 20 and 6:00 a.m. on October 21. It was discovered that an unknown suspect had gained access to the residence through an unlocked window and stolen a Macbook laptop from a table near the window.
10/21/2018 08:30 INCIDENT 18007489-1 B&E MV / BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16	GREEN STREET A resident of Quincy reported a breaking and entering to his vehicle that occurred between 3:00 and 8:00 a.m. on October 21. A large chunk of concrete that was left inside the vehicle appeared to have been used to break the window. A black North Face backpack containing glasses, a checkbook, and other personal items was stolen.
10/21/2018 14:28 INCIDENT 18007492-1 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	CONCORD AVENUE A Concord Avenue business reported the theft of a 16’ fiberglass ladder belonging to the company. The ladder has the name of the business printed on the side of it and went missing between the night of October 19 and the next morning.
10/21/2018 17:55 INCIDENT 18007493-1 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$1200, MALICIOUS C266 S12	OTIS STREET A resident of Otis Street reported that political campaign signs in her yard were vandalized between 4:00 p.m. on October 18 and 8:00 p.m. on October 19.
10/21/2018 18:36 INCIDENT 18007494-1 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	CONCORD AVENUE Officers responded for a report of a hit and run in the intersection of Concord Avenue and Garden Street. No injuries or serious vehicle damage were reported.

10/20/2018 11:02 INCIDENT 18007462-1 THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME c275 S2	KENDALL SQUARE An individual employed in Cambridge reported a number of strange statements made by his rideshare driver regarding blowing up bridges that connect Cambridge to Boston.
10/20/2018 11:13 TRAFFIC 18007463-1 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	CAMBRIDGE STREET A resident of Cambridge reported hit and run damage to her vehicle that occurred while it was parked in a restaurant’s parking lot on Hampshire Street. The damage occurred between 10:15 and 11:00 a.m.
10/20/2018 11:35 INCIDENT 18007465-1 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	ELLSWORTH AVENUE Officers responded to Ellsworth Avenue to assist the Fire Department with a dumpster that was obstructing the lane of travel. Upon arrival, a vehicle with hit and run damage was discovered. A witness stated that she had seen a truck attempt to travel down Ellsworth Avenue and become stuck due to the dumpster in the road. The witness believed the truck made contact with the damaged vehicle while backing out of Ellsworth Avenue at this time.

10/20/2018 13:44 INCIDENT 18007468-1 MISC. REPORT TYPE	BISHOP ALLEN DRIVE A resident of Cambridge reported being harassed by a party known to her. Because the incident occurred in Somerville, the reporting party was advised to file a report with the Somerville Police Department. The reporting party was assisted in pursuing a Harassment Prevention Order.
10/20/2018 14:40 INCIDENT 18007469-1 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	LEIGHTON STREET Officers responded to a Leighton Street residence for a report of a stolen bicycle. The red Mongoose bicycle was locked to a bike rack outside the reporting party’s residence and stolen between October 13 and 10:00 p.m. on October 19.

10/20/2018 16:21 INCIDENT 18007473-1 MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO c266 S28	ALEWIFE BROOK PARKWAY A resident of Westford reported hit and run damage to her vehicle that occurred while it was parked in an Alewife Brook Parkway parking lot between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.

10/20/2018 17:50 INCIDENT 18007477-1 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	THORNDIKE STREET Russell Giacchetto, 51, 74 Thorndike Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. The charge stems from an incident on October 19 in which Giacchetto allegedly stabbed a man twice during an argument.
10/20/2018 18:04 INCIDENT 18007479-1 OPENING A DOOR WHEN UNSAFE (INTO TRAFFIC, BICYCLIS	MOUNT AUBURN STREET Officers responded to the area of Harvard Square for a report of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle door opening into the bike lane. The driver fled the scene. The victim sought medical treatment on his own for a shoulder injury.
10/20/2018 18:16 INCIDENT 18007478-1 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	JFK STREET A resident of Deerfield reported leaving his iPhone 8 in a Harvard Square pharmacy. When he returned for it a few minutes later, the phone could not be located.
10/20/2018 18:58 INCIDENT 18007480-1 A&B c265 S13A	BROADWAY A resident of Tennessee staying at a Broadway hotel reported being assaulted by an unknown male suspect outside the hotel. The reporting party was not injured, but wished for the incident to be documented in case the suspect victimizes someone else.
10/20/2018 20:25 INCIDENT 18007481-1 MUNICIPAL BY-LAW OR ORDINANCE VIOLATION c40 S21	CARDINAL MEDEIROS AVENUE A resident of Hudson was issued a citation for a car alarm sounding over 10 minutes. The vehicle’s alarm had been sounding for over 30 minutes while parked on Cardinal Medeiros Avenue before it was towed.
10/20/2018 21:38 INCIDENT 18007483-1 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	PROSPECT STREET Following a hit and run crash in the intersection of Prospect Street and Cambridge Street, a resident of Winthrop received a summons for Leaving the Scene of Property Damage and Failure to Exhibit License After Crash. None of the involved parties reported injuries.
10/20/2018 22:03 INCIDENT 18007485-1 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$1200, MALICIOUS C266 S12	HARVARD STREET Officers responded to a Harvard Street address for a report of a male suspect attempting to break into the residence. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect beating the door with a broken fence post and threatening the residents inside with bodily harm if they did not open the door. Gregory Holloway, 57, 9 Boardman Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Malicious Destruction of Property Under $1200 and Attempted Armed Burglary. The door to the residence sustained significant damage.

Upon arrival, officers located the suspect vehicle and operator. Anne Grubaugh, 24, 71 Old Mystic Street in Arlington, was placed under arrest for Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Liquor.
10/19/2018 09:08 INCIDENT 18007433-1 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	RINDGE AVENUE A resident of Rindge Avenue reported that his bicycle trailer was stolen while it was attached to his bicycle that was locked to a street pole. The Burley brand children’s trailer was stolen between 10:00 p.m. on October 18 and 8:00 a.m. on October 19.

Nothing has been reported missing at this time. The vehicle may have been unlocked at the time of the break.

10/19/2018 11:22 INCIDENT 18007437-1 SHOPLIFTING BY CONCEALING MDSE c266 S30A	CAMBRIDGESIDE PLACE A Cambridgeside Place business reported a shoplifting that occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on October 18. A pair of Bluetooth speakers were stolen.

10/19/2018 14:00 INCIDENT 18007443-1 LARCENY FROM BUILDING c266 S20	CAMBRIDGE STREET An individual employed in Cambridge reported his credit cards stolen from his office. No fraudulent transactions have been reported at this time.
10/19/2018 17:18 INCIDENT 18007446-1 ATTEMPT TO COMMIT CRIME c274 S6	MAIN STREET A resident of Boston employed in the area of Main Street reported an attempted gift card scam. The reporting party realized it was a scam before incurring any monetary loss.
10/19/2018 17:24 TRAFFIC 18007448-1 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	OXFORD STREET A vehicle belonging to a Cambridge resident was struck and damaged by a coach bus while parked on Oxford Street. Witnesses observed the bus sideswipe the car, leaving paint transfer and denting, and leave the scene afterwards.
10/19/2018 17:36 INCIDENT 18007447-1 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	CARDINAL MEDEIROS AVENUE A resident of Cardinal Medeiros Avenue reported a package theft that occurred at approximately 4:07 p.m. on October 16. The reporting party has video footage of the theft from a home security system.
10/19/2018 17:48 INCIDENT 18007449-1 A&B WITH DANGEROUS WEAPON c265 S15A	THORNDIKE STREET Officers responded to a Thorndike Street residence for a report of a person being stabbed. It was discovered that Russell Giacchetto, 51, 74 Thorndike Street, had stabbed the victim twice after getting into an argument over repairs to a water heater. The victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance for non-life-threatening lacerations to his hand and thigh.
10/19/2018 19:25 INCIDENT 18007450-1 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	HARVARD STREET A resident of Pennsylvania reported being the victim of an apartment scam.
10/19/2018 22:14 ARREST 18007452-1 A&B ON 60+/DISABLED c265 S13K(F)	CHURCH STREET Following a disturbance in the area of Harvard Square, Anthony Mottola, 35, 52 Brigantine Circle in Plymouth, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery on a 60+/Disabled Person. None of the involved parties required medical treatment.
