Steven Talkowski, 37, 632 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Operation After Suspension after he was observed operating a motor vehicle. It was later determined that he had a warrant out of Newton District Court for a Marked Lanes Violation and operating with a suspended license.

JFK ST
Cambridge Police responded to the Harvard Square area for a report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, officers located a 62-year old victim with visible injuries to the face. The victim stated that they were physically assaulted by a group of three black males who fled prior to the arrival of officers. Once descriptions of the suspects were obtained, a search was conducted. Three suspects were stopped in the Harvard Square area, but the victim could not positively identify them as the perpetrators.

A resident of Cambridge was issued a citation/summons for operating a motor vehicle on a public way in Cambridge with a suspended license. Her vehicle was operating on Mass Ave and the registration plate was showing a suspended license status. After confirming she was operating the vehicle, the vehicle was towed and she was issued a citation.

CHURCH ST
Cambridge Police were dispatched to a call for shoplifting at an establishment in the Harvard Square area. Further investigation revealed that a suspect proceeded to take merchandise and pass all points of purchase. When confronted by a store employee, the suspect physically pushed the employee and advanced towards him in a threatening manner. The suspect also threw a metal container at the employee before fleeing from the establishment.

Donnell Skeen, 21, 12 Bennett Street in Everett, was arrested for a warrant out of Chelsea District Court for an Uninsured Motor Vehicle on Story Street. Skeen was identified as a suspect in a shoplifting that took place in their store.

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a resident of Allston operating on a public way and failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Mt. Auburn Street and Elliot Street. The driver stated that he did not have a license. He was issued a Massachusetts Uniform Citation and a summons for operating without a license and failure to stop at a stop sign.
