FAWCETT STREET

Officers responded to Fawcett Street for a report of a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle that occurred between approximately 7:00 p.m. on November 19 and 7:30 a.m. on November 20. The vehicle owner found one of the windows smashed out and her belongings strewn across the ground. A wallet containing credit cards and an Arizona driver’s license was stolen. Other items were later found to be stolen from various locations in the apartment building.

Officers responded to Raymond Street for a report of a hit and run causing damage to a motor vehicle. The reporting party’s vehicle was struck and damaged between approximately 7:00 p.m. on November 14 and 4:30 p.m. on November 19.

Lataysha Johnson, 18, 111 Armadine Street in Dorchester, was placed under arrest for Forgery of Check, Utter False Check, and Identity Fraud after a Kendall Square bank became suspicious about a check she was attempting to cash. The bank employees summoned police assistance after observing Johnson endorse the check with her own signature. It was discovered that the check was fraudulent and the issuer signature was forged.

Officers responded to Putnam Gardens for a report of malicious damage to a motor vehicle. Damage was done to a window of the reporting party’s vehicle that did not appear to have been done in order to gain access to the vehicle. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.

Officers responded to a Central Square business for a report of a shoplifting by a known suspect who has stolen from the store in the past. The suspect fled when confronted by the loss prevention officer. The investigation is ongoing.
