Officers responded to Massachusetts Avenue and Linnaean Street for an unattended suitcase. The suitcase was cleared by Explosive Ordnance Disposal with the assistance of a K9. It was found to be empty with no owner information and was subsequently disposed of.

Officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue business for a report of a larceny. An unknown male suspect was observed on video surveillance entering a secured area and leaving with a tablet belonging to the store and an employee’s cell phone.

Officers responded to the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Shea Road for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The owner stated that the vehicle was locked and he is still in possession of both key fobs. The vehicle was last seen at that location at 11:00 p.m. on November 20.

Officers responded to a Broadway business for a report of a hit and run causing property damage. One of the employees’ vehicles was struck and damaged between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m. while the owner was inside working.

Officers responded for a report of a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle that occurred in a Fawcett Street parking garage between 7:00 p.m. on November 19 and 7:00 a.m. on November 21. The reporting party is unsure how the suspect(s) gained access to his vehicle. Numerous articles of ski gear and other personal items were stolen from the vehicle.

A resident of Roxbury was summonsed to court for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise and Trespass. The suspect was observed on video surveillance at a Central Square business concealing fish sticks, ice cream, and shrimp in her bag and leaving the store without offering payment. Officers located the suspect nearby after documenting the report.

A resident of Harding Street reported a larceny of a package containing medications from her home. The package was confirmed as delivered at 11:53 a.m. on November 1 and was missing when the reporting party came home between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. that same day.
