A resident of Cambridge reported a pickpocketing that occurred in the Central
Square area sometime after 7:00 p.m. on November 30. The reporting party’s
wallet, containing cash, identification, credit and debit cards, an AAA card,
and an MBTA senior pass, was stolen from his front pocket. It was later
discovered that unauthorized charges had been made to the reporting party’s
debit card.

Street address. The bicycle, which was last seen locked up in Harvard Square,
is described as a silver Jamis Ventura Racer with a red front rim and a rack.

Officers responded to a River Street address for a report of a hit and run. A
witness had observed a dump truck strike a parked vehicle, causing
significant damage. The operator of the dump truck then left the truck idling
in a travel lane with the keys inside and fled the scene without leaving his
information. The suspect operator returned to the location while officers
were conducting an investigation and was summonsed to court for Leaving the
Scene of an Accident After Property Damage. The driver was additionally cited
for Unattended Motor Vehicle.

assault in progress. Upon arrival, a victim was located and transported via
ambulance to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was
beaten by a known party who then stole his cigarettes and money.

shoplifting. The loss prevention officer who reported the incident stopped
the suspect at the door and was able to recover the merchandise before the

while he retrieved items from the rear seats, and an unknown suspect vehicle
struck the open door while traveling down Fayette Street, causing significant
damage. The reporting party was not struck by the suspect vehicle.
