Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist on Massachusetts Avenue at Day Street. The cyclist, who was struck by a car door, was evaluated on scene by ambulance personnel but did not require further medical attention. The vehicle operator was issued a citation for precaution for safety of other travelers.

The reporting party stated that several charging cords, loose change, and a Louis Vuitton purse were taken from the vehicle, which appeared to have been left unlocked.

Upon being located by officers, one suspect fled abruptly across four lanes of heavy traffic on Massachusetts Avenue, leading officers on a foot pursuit and causing traffic to come to a complete halt. The suspect is described as a black male around 40 years of age with gray hair and glasses.

A taxi driver reported being assaulted with a knife after a road rage incident. The victim asked the suspect to move his vehicle because the suspect was parked in the bike lane and the victim did not want a bicyclist to strike either party’s vehicle. A verbal argument began and the suspect exited his vehicle, then brandished a knife and swung it at the victim. The knife tore the victim’s sweatshirt but did not make contact with his skin. The suspect fled down Main Street towards Central Square. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male in his mid-forties with a mustache and curly hair. The victim did not require medical treatment.

Oliveira struck and damaged another vehicle in traffic while driving on Prospect Street, fled towards Central Square, and was stopped further down Prospect Street a short while after the crash.

Officers responded to Sciarappa Street for a report of a male suspect walking down the street and damaging the side view mirrors on parked vehicles. The suspect was described as a white male with a Santa hat hanging from his back pocket, and officers soon located an individual matching this description on nearby Binney Street. William Kleschinsky, 27, 232 North Road in Bedford, was placed under arrest for twenty-four counts of Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle after it was determined that the side view mirrors of twenty-four separate vehicles had been damaged in the incident.
