Lance Stewart, 51, 17 Court Street in Boston, was placed under arrest for
Shoplifting by Asportation. Stewart was detained by loss prevention officers
after exiting a Cambridgeside Place store with merchandise he had not offered
payment for. Stolen merchandise from several other nearby businesses was
discovered in Stewart’s possession.

Lawrence Payne, 58, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest
for Trespass and Threat to Commit a Crime. Payne refused to leave the
premises of an Albany Street establishment where he was causing a
disturbance. The reporting party stated that Payne had made threats to kill
staff members prior to police arrival. While officers were attempting to
convince Payne to leave the area willingly, Payne threatened to kill one of
the officers.
