Cambridge Police placed Mater Suad Almishalawi, 53, homeless, under arrest for Open and Gross Lewdness and Receiving Stolen Credit Card. Almishalawi was placed under arrest after two employees at a coffee shop observed him washing his genitals in the public area of the men's room bathroom on two separate occasions. While Almishalawi was being searched by officers after being placed under arrest, officers located a debit card that did not belong to him on his person.

Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit  responded to Church Street for a report of an unattended bag. Upon arrival Tango 7 and K9 Rumba cleared the bag and determined it to be clothing pornographic magazines and a sleeping bag.

A resident of Saugus was issued a criminal citation for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Speeding after he was observed operating a motor vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue in excess of the posted speed limit. A RMV check of their information revealed the driver did not possess a valid driver's license.

A Malden resident was summonsed into court for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise at a department store. They were observed shoplifting by a loss prevention employee on CCTV and on the store floor. They were detained after she left the clothing store without paying for the merchandise.
