Cambridge Police arrested Jeffrey Flores, 43, Homeless, and charged him with Distribution of a Class A Substance - Subsequent Offense, Possession of a Class E Substance and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act. Also arrested and charged with Possession of a Class A Substance and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act were Abdisamad Abubakar, 45, 80 Holmes Avenue, Dorchester, and Eric Strong, 35, 24 Franklin Avenue, Chelsea. All three were observed engaging in a drug transaction. The incident occurred at Bishop Allen Drive and Essex Street.

Two workers called Cambridge Police to report a past breaking and entering to their work truck where the driver's front window was smashed and a wallet was taken. The motor vehicle was parked near Concord Avenue and the break happened as they were working inside the building.

Christopher Coates, 34, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was arrested on Massachusetts Avenue for a default warrant issued on 2/20/19 out of Lowell District Court for two counts of Possession of Class B drug. Officers knew Coates had the warrant issued on him, observed him at this location and confirmed the warrant was active before placing him in custody.

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a motor vehicle take an improper turn at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Prospect Street. As a result of the traffic stop, an Everett resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and for taking an improper turn.
