Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested William Lombardo, 26, 110 Maple Street, Stow, MA and charged him with OUI - Drugs, Possession of a Class B Substance, Marked Lanes Violation and Failure to Stop for a Red Light. Lombardo, while operating a motor vehicle in the Central Square area was displaying driving and physical attributes consistent with operating under the influence of an intoxicating substance and when stopped, failed the roadside assessment.

Cambridge Police responded to a store on Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a shoplifting and assault on store employees. Employees stated that an individual had concealed multiple items of merchandise on his person, left the store, and traveled down Massachusetts Avenue. The suspect was identified as Ronald Slusher, 26, 661 Central Avenue, Dobey NH, and arrested after further investigation discovered that Slusher had two warrants and the stolen merchandise on his person.

David Blake, 27, of 112 South Hampton St, Boston, and Joseph Eaton 31, of 395 LaGrange St, West Roxbury, were arrested at the intersection of Cambridge Street and Second Street, and were charged with Breaking and Entering Daytime for a Felony, Receiving Stolen Property Under $1,200, Receiving a Stolen Credit Card, and Possession of Class E drug, after a homeowner reported that both parties entered through his home's front door without authority. The two suspects were later found to have three stolen credit cards, a stolen prescription bottle of pills, as well as stolen merchandise from a department store.
