Manuel Maia, 62, Homeless, was arrested on Pine Street near Washington Street, and charged shoplifting by asportation, after he was observed by a Massachusetts Avenue grocery store employee, leaving the store with items without purchasing them.

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and State Street after a random inquiry of a registration showed that the vehicle’s registration was revoked for insurance. The vehicle’s operator was summonsed to court for operating after revocation of registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Alexis Rodriguez-Perez, 28 of 52 Clarkwood Street, Mattapan, was arrested at a Cambridge Hospital, after two 9mm loaded magazines were discovered stuffed down Rodriguez-Perez's pants and a loaded 9 mm firearm was discovered hidden in a trash can adjacent to Rodriguez-Perez's hospital bed by Hospital Secuirty. Rodriguez-Perez was placed under arrest for two counts of carrying of a  loaded firearm without license, and possessing firearm or ammunition without an FID Card.
