A resident of China reports that on 2/28/19 between 8:10 and 8:15 a.m. an unknown person stole their black shoulder bag from a White Street restaurant. The victim left their bag unattended for a short period of time.

Officers responded to a Lopez Street address to document a past breaking and entering to a residence report. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting person who stated a unknown suspect gained entry into his residence without his knowledge and/or consent.

An Arlington resident walked into the Cambridge Police Station to report a past assault. The assault and battery to which her father was the victim occurred at a rehabilitation facility within Cambridge.

WESTERN AVE
Brian Spingler, 26, 13 Wareham Street in Provincetown, was arrested and charged with Possession of Class B Drug (Crack Cocaine), Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest and Trespassing, as a result of a drug investigation within Central Square. Spingler and a second male were observed engaging in drug seeking behavior. Detectives observed Spingler and a second male walk down the alley at Green Street, which has a visible No Trespassing Sign, and huddle together looking down at an object. Upon Detectives approach, Spingler clenched his right hand, and pushed a Detective in an attempt to flee the scene. Giving verbal commands to stop, Spingler failed to stop numerous times. Upon being taken into custody, a small clear knotted plastic bag containing a white rock substance was recovered within a white napkin from his right hand.

BRATTLE ST
A Brattle Street business reported an employee was the victim of a past assault and battery. The suspect smashed the glass front door to the business, as well as a large exterior window. The suspect then fled the area in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area and were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
