Cambridge Police responded to Upland Road for a motor vehicle crash without injuries report. An investigation revealed that the operator was involved in a car crash. The Watertown resident was found to be operating a motor vehicle on the public way of Cambridge with a suspended license and will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for operating a motor vehicle on a public way with a suspended license.

A Cambridge resident came to the police station to report that he was the target of a scam. He was selling a piece of furniture online for $500. An interested party sent him a check for $1500 and told him to deposit it saying the extra money was for "moving expenses".

A woman who works in Cambridge came to the police station to report that she has been receiving harassing phone calls at work for about a week. She believes it might be coming from an ex-employee, but the phone number has no listing.

Cambridge Police Responded to a local mall for three parties suspected of uttering false checks. Upon arrival, Officers were greeted by Loss Prevention Investigators, who stated they were following a vehicle whose occupants had uttered false checks to a department store in Cambridge on Alewife Brook Parkway. Loss Prevention Investigators showed officers video and photos of the occupants of the vehicles entering and leaving the store with merchandise after uttering a false check to cashiers. As a result of a subsequent investigation, Nicole Bolden, 45, 567 Kempton Street in New Bedford, and Anthony Watson, 65, 61 Concoran Street in Mattapan, were arrested for Uttering a False Check, Forgery of a Check, Possession of a False RMV Document and Receiving Stolen Property.

Cambridge Police were dispatched to a department store on a report that they were detaining three people for shoplifting. Loss Prevention employees stated that they did not wish to press any charges regarding today's incident, but just wanted to confirm the suspects’ identifications. It was revealed that one of the three suspects who identified herself as, Diana Vasquez, 23, 5945 Senator Bolling Circle in Dorchester, had a warrant out of Boston District Court for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Vasquez was placed under arrest.
