03/21/2019 08:47 INCIDENT 19001853 LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED, OP MV WITH C90 S23	UPLAND RD Cambridge Police responded to Upland Road for a motor vehicle crash without injuries report. An investigation revealed that the operator was involved in a car crash. The Watertown resident was found to be operating a motor vehicle on the public way of Cambridge with a suspended license and will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for operating a motor vehicle on a public way with a suspended license.

He was selling a piece of furniture online for $500. An interested party sent him a check for $1500 and told him to deposit it saying the extra money was for "moving expenses".

The resident discovered this upon running a credit check and was directed to file a police report by the credit bureau.
03/21/2019 17:10 INCIDENT 19001865 TELEPHONE CALLS, ANNOYING c269 S14A	CONCORD AVE A woman who works in Cambridge came to the police station to report that she has been receiving harassing phone calls at work for about a week. She believes it might be coming from an ex-employee, but the phone number has no listing.
03/21/2019 17:12 INCIDENT 19001866 UTTER FALSE CHECK C267 S5	Cambridge Police Responded to a local mall for three parties suspected of uttering false checks. Upon arrival, Officers were greeted by Loss Prevention Investigators, who stated they were following a vehicle whose occupants had uttered false checks to a department store in Cambridge on Alewife Brook Parkway. Loss Prevention Investigators showed officers video and photos of the occupants of the vehicles entering and leaving the store with merchandise after uttering a false check to cashiers. As a result of a subsequent investigation, Nicole Bolden, 45, 567 Kempton Street in New Bedford, and Anthony Watson, 65, 61 Concoran Street in Mattapan, were arrested for Uttering a False Check, Forgery of a Check, Possession of a False RMV Document and Receiving Stolen Property.

03/21/2019 18:13 INCIDENT 19001870 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	MASSACHUSETTS AVE A Somerville resident reported that while she was shopping at a Central Square business, an unknown suspect(s) stole her backpack from her shopping carriage.
03/21/2019 18:50 ARREST 19001871 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	CAMBRIDGESIDE PL Cambridge Police were dispatched to a department store on a report that they were detaining three people for shoplifting. Loss Prevention employees stated that they did not wish to press any charges regarding today's incident, but just wanted to confirm the suspects’ identifications. It was revealed that one of the three suspects who identified herself as, Diana Vasquez, 23, 5945 Senator Bolling Circle in Dorchester, had a warrant out of Boston District Court for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Vasquez was placed under arrest.
03/21/2019 18:50 INCIDENT 19001869 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	CHARLES ST A Cambridge resident came to the police station to report that she was the intended victim of an internet scam. She said she was contacted by a man telling her to send him all of her money.
03/21/2019 19:16 ARREST 19001872 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police were dispatched to Massachusetts Avenue for a trespassing violation. Steven Guerra, 20, homeless, was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Lowell District Court for Possession of Liquor Under 21 and a Miscellaneous Municipal Ordinance Violation.
03/21/2019 20:31 INCIDENT 19001873 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	RIVER ST A Cambridge resident came to the police station to report that she was the victim of an internet scam. She received a call from a man claiming to represent a federal agency and he intimidated her into purchasing several gift cards. She also gave him her personal info.
