MASON ST
Cambridge Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Mason Street and Phillips Place. As a result, Cambridge Police have filed a criminal complaint against a Revere resident for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage. Officers also filed a criminal complaint against another Revere resident for allowing an improper operator.

A Cambridge resident called CPD to report a continuing pattern of harassing behavior by her landlord, which began with complaints of noise by her one year old and continuing with threats to stay off the front porch where the mail arrives.

BRATTLE SQ
Cambridge Police responded to a local business located at Brattle Square for a larceny report. An investigation revealed that a security guard was observed on video surveillance removing a left behind envelope of money from the teller's counter and leaving the location. He later returned the same envelope to the assistant bank manager, which he claimed to have found. A short time later, the customer/owner of the money reported to bank personnel that they were missing $400 from the returned envelope. At this time, the security guard has been summonsed to Cambridge District Court and charged with larceny from building.

A Green Street resident reports that on 4/10/19 between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., an unknown person stole their bike while it was secured to a bike pole outside of a Cambridge Street business.

UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV c90 S10

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police were conducting traffic enforcement at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue at Prospect Street, when a vehicle was observed making an improper left turn. Once the vehicle was pulled over, officers spoke with the driver who stated that she was unaware of the no left turn at that intersection. After further investigation, it was determined that the driver’s license was expired. The Somerville resident was notified that she would be summons into court for an expired license and that her vehicle was going to be towed.

A local employee received a call on his cell phone while at work in Central Square. It was someone posing as an IRS Agent. They asked for his social security number along with bank account information. They implied if he didn't provide the info that law enforcement would arrive in ten minutes to place him under arrest.

A Magazine Street resident received a call at his residence stating that they were from a new energy company. They convinced the resident that they could provide less expensive service. He ended up providing his name and social security number. After a quick google search and contacting his current energy company, he figured out the call was from a fraudulent individual.

A white male entered a parking garage at a Cambridge Parkway building and cut a whole in the side of a fenced bike cage. The suspect fled the garage before gaining entry into the bike cage.

Mebrahtu Sisay, 33, 65 Linden Street in Everett, was arrested and charged with Operating After Suspension of License, Motor Vehicle Blocking a Bicycle Lane, Open Container of Alcohol, Open Container of Marijuana/Possession in a Motor Vehicle and Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B after a motor vehicle stop was conducted of Sisay's vehicle, which was observed by officers to be blocking a marked bicycle lane on Massachusetts Avenue near Inman Street. A subsequent query of Sisay's license status revealed it to be suspended, an inventory of the motor vehicle revealed an open container of alcohol and two marijuana cigarettes in the passenger compartment with drugs being found on his person.

PROSPECT ST
Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Street. As a result of the stop, a Medford resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for a single count of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and for an improper turn.
