INCIDENT  19002517
DISORDERLY CONDUCT c272 S53

CAMBRIDGE ST
Cambridge Police arrested Alias Adhana, 32, 12 Mission Park Street in Boston, for Disorderly Conduct. Adhana was initially observed with two friends at approximately 1:30 a.m. by an Officer on paid detail. The Officer watched as Adhana scaled a tree located on a public sidewalk adjacent to a main thoroughfare. The Officer made contact with the group and instructed them to stop climbing the tree so as to avoid physical injury to themselves or the tree (as it is city owned property). It was immediately apparent to the Officer that Adhana was extremely intoxicated. The officer observed obvious signs of impairment to include glassy eyes and slurred speech. Adhana then became verbally aggressive towards the Officer and shouted profanities and racial slurs at him. Adhana also approached the officer aggressively and displayed pre-assaultive cues including clenched hands and raised arms. The officer instructed the group to move out of the roadway numerous times as their ultimate destination, a nearby pub, was on the opposite side of the intersection. The two unidentified friends eventually attempted to persuade Adhana to cross the street and be on his way, but their efforts were thwarted in the middle of a busy intersection when Adhana again approached the officer in an aggressive manner. The Officer then advised Adhana that his tumultuous behavior was rising to the level of Disorderly Conduct as he was becoming a clear spectacle to passersbys and disrupting a work crew utilizing heavy construction equipment nearby. Furthermore, Adhana’s reckless behavior in the middle of a roadway further created a risk of public inconvenience as the free flow of traffic was obstructed. Adhana again refused to leave the roadway and the officer escorted him to the sidewalk where he was taken into custody. As a result, Adhana is being charged with Disorderly Conduct. Additionally, during the booking process it was revealed that Adhana is currently wanted by the Harris County Sheriff's Office Houston, TX for an extraditable felony warrant. As such, Adhana is also being charged with Fugitive from Justice on a Court Warrant. It was also revealed that Adhana has two warrants in Massachusetts for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Malicious Destruction of Property $1200+.
