Cambridge Police were dispatched to a retail store for a shoplifting incident. As a result, James Schaff, 52, homeless, was placed under arrest for two warrants out of Boston District Court for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Two residents of Albany Street in Cambridge were stopped in Carl Barron Plaza for Distribution of a Class E drug and Possession of a Class E drug. An Officer observed one of the parties handing the other a pill from a bottle. They subsequently observed the Officer and one of the suspects threw the pill back into the bottle. Upon investigating, it was learned that one of the suspects was in possession of prescription medication that did not belong to her, and she in fact handed a pill to the other suspect. One will be charged with Distribution of a Class E Drug, and the other will be charged with Possession of a Class E Drug.
