RECKLESS OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE c90 S24

BROADWAY
Cambridge Police observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Massachusetts Avenue near Sidney Street. The motor vehicle failed to stop for police. A short time later, the motor vehicle that had failed to stop was involved in a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Main Street and Broadway. The operator of the motor vehicle fled the vehicle and was eventually located hiding in a nearby construction site. The operator was conveyed to a local hospital for injuries resulting from the crash. As a result of this incident, a 23-year-old Boston resident was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Operating to Endanger and multiple other motor vehicle infractions.

A Cambridge resident reported an attempted fraud on April 22, 2019 at approximately 6:10 PM. A suspect claiming to be a police officer called her and told her she was subject to a drug investigation and an identity fraud case. She was told that a cash payment could result in dismissal of these charges and reestablish her identity. The reporting party sent no money to the suspect and reported the incident to police.
