Cambridge Police arrested Abdisamad Abubakar,42, 80 Holmes Avenue, and charged him with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. Abubakar was observed at Central Square engaging in a suspected drug transaction with a known drug user. Abubakar was stopped and found to be in possession of multiple baggies of suspected crack cocaine, packaged for street level distribution. The alleged buyer left the area prior to being stopped by the police.

Cambridge Police arrested Anthony Thomas, 57, of 27 Ormond St, Boston, MA and Diana Robinson, 53, of 190 Bowdion St, Dorchester, MA were arrested for larceny under $1,200. Thomas and Robinson were observed by lost prevention stealing 36 items for a grand total of $605. Lost prevention followed the suspects out of the store until police arrived on scene. The larceny was on video surveillance and provided to police as evidence.

A Cambridge Police responded to a Broadway residence for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. Massachusetts State Police recovered the motor vehicle a short time later after a crash and placed the operator under arrest for use without authority and other charges.
