David Pleitez, 18, Somerville, and a 16-year-old from Somerville will face multiple charges, including Attempted Murder, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building, and Possession of Firearm without an FID Card. Joao Bonicenha, 19, Somerville will face Attempted Murder and Accessory after the Fact charges following the execution of search warrants by the Cambridge Police Investigations Section. PROSPECT ST
Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Street (a public way) in Central Square after observing a vehicle take an illegal left turn (despite numerous posted signs and lane markings indicating left turns are prohibited). Officers determined that the operator of the motor vehicle did not have a valid license. A resident of Cambridge was summonsed to court for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Improper Turn.
