Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Cambridge Street and Quincy Street for a report of a hit and run that occurred between a motor vehicle and a bicyclist. Multiple witnesses stated they saw a black sedan strike the bicyclist, causing personal injury, and flee down Cambridge Street. Approximately 18 minutes later, police stopped a motor vehicle matching the description at the intersection of Broadway and Columbia Street with front end damage to the hood and a smashed windshield. Upon an investigation, The operator of the vehicle will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Personal Injury.
