Cambridge Police arrested Taylor Lacorte, 31, homeless, for a warrant out of Boston District Court for Intimidate a Witness/Juror/Police/Court Official, Shoplifting by Concealment, and Identity Fraud. The defendant also had a warrant out of Boston District Court for Larceny from a Building. During a search after being placed under arrest, a small baggie of heroin was found in the backpack the defendant was carrying on scene. The defendant is also being charged for Possession of Class A.

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Washington street and Portland street after it was determined that the motor vehicle was operating with stolen plates. Upon further investigation, Dhamari Jordan, 18, 1 Walden Square Road in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for carrying a loaded firearm without a license after officers discovered a loaded firearm in Jordan's waistband during a pat frisk for officer safety. Jordan was also charged with carrying a firearm without a license and possession of ammunition without a license. Wensly Plaisir, 19, 29 Winthrop Street in Malden, was placed under arrest for operating after suspension, receiving stolen property under $1,200, attaching motor vehicle plates, operating an unregistered vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit along with the assistance of U.S. Postal Inspectional Service -arrested Mohammed Islam, 55, 362 Rindge Avenue in Cambridge, and Mohamed Hossain, 43, 364 Rindge Avenue in Cambridge for Trafficking of a Class B Drug (Methamphetamine). These arrests are the result of an investigation involving the shipment of two international parcels. Each parcel contained approximately 200 grams of pills. A presumptive field test of the pills revealed a positive presence of Methamphetamine. Islam and Hossain took possession of two USPS packages during a controlled delivery.
