SCIARAPPA ST
CPD responded to Sciarappa Street for a report of an ongoing disturbance. Upon our arrival, one of the individuals causing the disturbance was located in front of the residence and identified as Paul Phaneuf, 54, 59 Marlborough Road in Woburn. Phaneuf had a warrant out of Concord District Court for Breaking and Entering and Larceny Over $1200. Phaneuf was arrested on scene for the warrant and transported to the station for booking.

MAIN ST
ECC dispatched CPD units to the area of Main Street on a person who had been stabbed. A description of suspect was given and CPD units in the area, turning from Bishop Allen Drive onto Main Street, observed the suspect male, later identified as Thomas Ryan, 61, homeless, attempting to discard something into the flower pots on Main Street. The item then fell to the sidewalk and officers observed a knife. At this point, CPD stopped Ryan and placed him in handcuffs. A show up was conducted by CPD in which the victim identified Ryan as the person who had stabbed him (Ryan is known to the victim). The victim sustained a laceration to his left forearm. Ryan was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon to Wit a Knife.

A shuttle bus operator for M.I.T reports that while stopped for traffic near the intersection of Garden Street and Mass Ave a passenger vehicle side-swiped a bus' left side causing paint damage. The operator of a suspect vehicle pretended that she was going to pull over but never stopped and fled the scene without exchanging insurance information. No injuries were reported.

WARRANT ARREST REPORT

COLUMBIA ST
Richard Holmes, 28, 16 Fowler Street in Dorchester, was placed into custody by the Cambridge Police. Holmes provided police with a driver's license that had a name on it other than his. When police identified his real name, it was discovered that Holmes had an expired driver's license and three warrants out of Roxbury District Court (Breaking and Entering Nighttime for Felony), West Roxbury District Court (Refusing to Provide DNA Database Sample) and Boston Municipal District Court (Breaking and Entering Nighttime for a Felony). After a small foot pursuit, Holmes was located and placed into custody without any further incident. He is also being charged with Witness Intimidation and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
