MEMORIAL DR
Cambridge Police responded to a local hotel located at Memorial Drive for report of suspicious activity in a guest’s room. As a result, Stone Maldonado, 25, Agawam, and Yleana Clark, 19, Schenectady, NY, were arrested for Trafficking In MDMA and Possession To Distribute Class B Drug. Tyler Dawson, 30, South Burlington, VT, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Class B Drug. Maldonado and Clark were in possession of a black bag containing one large zip locked bag containing MDMA and a second large zip locked bag containing 41 individually wrapped small zip locked bags containing MDMA. Each approximately one gram in weight. Dawson was found to have cocaine for personal use in his possession.

Cambridge Police summonsed a homeless male for Malicious Destruction less than $1,200 after a witness observed this individual, who is known to the witness, pull out three lawn lamps from the ground and leave the property. The suspect is trespassed from this property and has had several incidents at this location within the last two weeks for the same charge.

Cambridge Police responded to a department store for a shoplifting in progress. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the defendant -- Richard Dalio, 37, 39 Boylston Street in Boston, also had a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Larceny Under $1,200. Dalio is being charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

NEW ST
While patrolling Danehy Park, Cambridge Police Officers were approached by a female to report an Attempted Abduction of a Female Juvenile. According to the reporting party, the suspect attempted to kidnap her great granddaughter as she was riding her bicycle through Danehy Park (Sherman Street side). The suspect was last seen running through Danehy Park towards New Street. A search of the local area yielded no results for that suspect. A report was taken. Based on follow-up investigations, there are now strong indications that there never was a threat related to the initially reported incident.

Cambridge Police responded to the area of Mass Ave and Church Street on the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers were met by two parties that were both going to a shelter and both stated that the other started the fight, refused police involvement, both stated that they were not injured, and they refused medical.

CHURCH ST
Cambridge Police responded to a local shelter located at  Church Street for report of a disturbance. A resident there was summonsed for three counts of Assault and Battery on a Police Officer and Possession of a Class A Drug. She threw a capped needle in the direction of officers, striking one in the foot and continued to be combative while officers assisted PRO Ambulance with loading her into the ambulance. She proceeded to spit in the direction of officers striking the same officer on the hand and wrist area of their left arm. While attempting to calm the resident, a second officer was struck in the head by her flailing arms. She was found to be in possession of Fentanyl contained in a plastic baggy concealed on her person.
