BINNEY ST
Cambridge Police attempted to stop a motorized scooter in the Kendall Square area for several observed safety violations. The operator failed to stop and was observed from a distance operating in a reckless manner while making obscene hand gestures at officers. The scooter eventually stopped due to a mechanical issue at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Memorial Drive. The operator was identified by his Massachusetts Driver's License as Amara Kenneh, 39, 88 Hammond Street in Roxbury, was arrested for failure to stop for police and cited for numerous motor vehicle infractions.

A Lowell resident was summonsed to court for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. This was the result of being stopped for going up a one-way street in the wrong direction.

A Cambridge resident came to the police station to report a larceny. He states he gave a set of watches to a friend to hold while he was homeless. Now she blocked him, changed her cell number and demanded ransom for their return.

A resident of Fresh Pond Lane reports that her family was on vacation from 7/18 to 7/28 and when they returned home their front door was ajar. They then discovered that an unknown suspect had entered their house and stolen an engagement ring, men's watch and a laptop computer.
