A Lambert Street resident reported that sometime between midnight and 3:00 a.m., an unknown person smashed the rear driver's side window of his vehicle, and stole a bag containing tools.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD OVER $1200 c266 S37C(e)

PRENTISS ST
Cambridge Police responded to a local inn in Cambridge on a report from the manager of a flim flam that occurred at the inn. Upon arrival police met with the manager who provided a print out of the fraudulent use of credit card that a male had used to stay that totaled $ 1,987.96. An employee stated she checked in the suspect with a credit card provided by him. The manager provided a print out of the disputed charges made on a credit card. The employee informed police that she received by mail a package from Merchant Dispute Resolution Department informing her that the credit card has fraudulent charges. The employee having knowledge that the person who used that credit card was on scene and she called the number provided by the credit card company. She was advised to call the Cambridge Police Department. Semera Gebrhewhit, 26, 87 St. Stephen Street in Boston, was placed under arrest for Defrauding Inn Keeper and Fraudulent Use of Credit Card.

William Wallace, 32, 81 Waterford Drive in Weymouth, was arrested for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, and a Warrant out of Attleboro District Court, after he was observed walking past the point of sale with items in his possession, and having a switch blade in his possession.

James Flynn, 52, 929 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, was arrested for Trespassing. Flynn was arrested after an employee at liquors store told him to leave the store and Flynn refused. Officers then arrived on scene and had to remove Flynn from the store. It shall be noted that Flynn also have an active no trespassing order that is valid from 4/10/19 to 4/10/20.

The manager of an Alewife Brook Parkway business reported that sometime before 10:42 p.m. an unknown person unsuccessfully attempted to break into their ATM machine. Even though entry was not gained the ATM machine was damaged during the attempted break.
