At approximately 9:45 p.m., Cambridge Police placed Lyle Oates 31, 32 Tuter Street in Chelsea, under arrest for assault and battery. After police broke up a large group of people fighting, Oates shoved a woman down to the ground with both arms right in front of the officer. As officers were attempting to hand cuff Oates, the victim came up to him and pushed him. The officer cuffing Oates warned the victim to walk away whom disobeyed the officer's command and proceed to punch Oates in the cheek with a closed fist. Subsequently, the victim, a Cambridge resident is being summonsed to Cambridge District Court for assault and battery.

Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square in regards to an assault that just occurred. A male victim was struck in the head with a cane. The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of police. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At approximately 1:37 a.m., numerous Cambridge Police units responded to a local restaurant on Brattle Street on a report of a fight involving upwards of seven males. Upon arrival officers separated involved parties, evaluated them for injuries, and took statements after what had happened. The determination was made to send the involved parties on their way. As individuals began leaving the area one of the involved males, entered the travel way of Brattle Street and began to chase after several of the involved parties while verbally accosting them. The decision was made to place the individual identified as Silas Biden, 22, 94 Monument Street in Medford, under arrest for Disorderly Conduct.

At approximately 2:44 p.m., Shayla Cole, 33, 122 Hampshire Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest and charged with Credit Card Fraud Under $1,200, Credit Card, Receive Stolen, Uttering False Document, and Drug and Possession Class A. Toni Allien, 25, 168 Brookline Street in Cambridge was arrested and charged with Larceny From Person, Credit Card, Larceny Of Credit Card, Receiving Stolen Property, Assault and Battery On Police Officer and Police Officer, Interfere With (Common Law). Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for report of a larceny. Cole was found to have used the victim's credit and debit cards, forging the victim's signature at both locations. While searching Cole's fanny pack for the stolen credit card, a small baggie of a brownish, powdery substance, consistent with heroin was found. Allien took a lanyard from the victim containing money and the victim's credit and debit cards. During the investigation Allien displayed belligerent behavior to include physically taking evidence out of an officer’s hand.

CONCORD AVE
At 11:19 a.m., a Cambridge resident who was driving a 2004 Subaru Forester on Concord Avenue struck a pedestrian who was trying to cross on Concord Avenue. The pedestrian who is also a Cambridge resident attempted to cross Concord Avenue from the Sancta Maria side to the golf course side of Concord Avenue. The driver was in the middle lane of Concord Avenue near the Sancta Maria entrance when she attempted to go from the middle lane to the right lane in order to take a right turn onto Blanchard Road. The pedestrian was struck by the front of the car and bounced onto the hood of the car before being bounced off the car and onto the pavement. The driver never saw the pedestrian walk off the curb and into the street. The pedestrian sustained injuries to her left leg.

At 7:50 p.m. an officer was flagged down by a pedestrian stating a car just struck an individual and took off. The witness then pointed to the vehicle which was the rear vehicle of a three car accident. It was discovered that that the operator had struck a Cambridge resident in the crosswalk at Massachusetts Avenue and Pearl Street. The operator identified as Katrina Murphy, 20, 43 Franklin Street in Medford, was then placed under arrest for Hit and Run, Leaving the Scene Of Personal Injury.
