Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Mass. Ave. for a disturbance. After an investigation Raymond Rivera Jr., 49, 820 Mass. Ave. in Cambridge, was taken into custody for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon after he stated that he struck a victim several times with a "metal pull up bar."

HARVEY ST
Two people came to the police station to report that they belong to a trust along with several other people. They report that one of the trustees habitually sabotages any work and maintenance that is done on the property. Recently an electric contractor did work and cleaned up meticulously. But later a pile of lead paint chips was left there to make it appear as if the contractor had left a mess. A pattern of similar behavior was ongoing.

A Central Falls, RI resident reports that on 9/19/19 at approximately 1:30 p.m. his motor vehicle, which was parked at a meter outside Mass. Ave., was struck by the operator of a 2016 VW Jetta. The operator of this VW fled the scene of the crash without stopping to identify themselves.

Officers responded a Cambridgeside Place business for a shoplifter. Upon arrival responding officers learned a Brockton woman and her niece stole over $2,000 in store merchandise. The Brockton woman was summons for Larceny Over $1,200.

Ralph Milord, 24, 480 Metropolitan Avenue in Hyde Park, was arrested for Shoplifting by Asportation over $250.00 and Assault and Battery after he went to a business on Alewife Brook Parkway and stole multiple items. After leaving the store, the loss prevention officer asked Milord to stop and Milord pushed him away and ran.
