At 6:14 a.m., Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance Unit responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a suspicious box hat was located in front of the building. Upon arrival the box was cleared. The box contained some soiled clothing and a pair of clogs It was checked for information as to who owned the contents and there was nothing indicating the owner. There was nothing of value in the box and it was disposed of in a barrel to prevent further calls for the same item.

Angela Decristofaro, 47, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was arrested due to two warrants being issued for her. The first warrant was issued out of Cambridge District Court for Vandalizing Property. The second warrant is issued out of Cambridge District Court for Shoplifting by Asportation and Trespass.

Cambridge Police were dispatched to assist a unit on Massachusetts Avenue. The Officer on scene reported observing a male strike another male on the head with a 4 foot long pipe. The Officer on scene witnessed the assault, which included the male striking the victim on the head while he was on a bicycle, knocking him off a bicycle to the ground causing further injury. Based on the observations made by the Officer, the male identified as Ricardo Gomes, 59, homeless, was placed into custody for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon to with a led pipe. Pro EMS were called to treat the victim who was transported to a local hospital.

When she asked the woman why she was staring at her they argued before she was punched in the side of the face.

At approximately 11:00 p.m., Cambridge Police responded to a White Street pharmacy on a report of an unwanted person. The involved party was located in a restroom with drug paraphernalia. Subsequent investigation revealed that the male, had concealed $147.78 in merchandise with no way of paying for it. He was trespassed from the store and a report was taken to document the incident.

At 9:48 p.m., Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance Unit responded to Cambridge Street for report of an unattended bag. Upon arrival Cambridge Police cleared the bag. The bag was a red cooler style bag that contained food. There was no information as to who owned the bag and no identification in the bag. The bag was disposed of to prevent further calls for the same item.

NEWTOWNE CT
At approximately 11:26 p.m., multiple Cambridge Police units responded to Newtowne Court for a report of a fight between two males. Jekeenin Patterson-Hollis, 27, 46 Ditson in Dorchester, was placed under arrest for one count each, Assault and Battery, Resist Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. Mackendy Valcin, 28, 808 Mt, Auburn Street in Watertown, was placed under arrest for one count each, Assault and Battery, and Disorderly Conduct.  Upon arrival, officers observed Valcin and Patterson-Hollis actively assaulting one another on the ground with a large crowd gathered around them. Officers were able to separate Patterson-Hollis and Valcin from each other and attempted to place both parties in handcuffs. While attempting to place Patterson-Hollis in handcuffs he began to resist by rolling on the ground, refusing to give his hands to officers, and attempting to stand back up. Patterson-Hollis performed all these actions after receiving multiple orders from officers to stop resisting and give them his hands. Officers were eventually able to successfully place Patterson-Hollis in handcuffs.
