A Somerville resident reports an unknown motor vehicle struck a 2016 Honda, which was parked on Porter Road. The suspect motor vehicle struck the front end of the Honda ripping off the bumper. The suspect motor vehicle then fled the scene without making them self known after causing the damage to the Honda.

Cassandra Selmon, 57, 19 Valentine Street in Boston, was arrested due to having a warrant issued for her. The warrant was issued out of Cambridge District Court for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise and Trespassing.

Units responded to the Ahern field for a report of a loud bang. Officers found the area where the noise came from and a sample of evidence was taken for testing. It is believed that the bang/evidence came from a firework.

GARDEN ST
CPD units responded to Garden Street along with CFD and Pro Ambulance for a motor vehicle versus a pedestrian crash. On arrival, all parties involved were on scene and identified. The pedestrian was treated at the scene for injuries sustained and then transported to a local hospital by Pro Ambulance. A crash report was filed.

Cambridge Police responded to a store in Central Square in regards to an assault that just occurred. A male suspect kicked a female in the head. The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of police. The female was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The two individuals are believed to be known to each other.
