SHOPLIFTING BY CONCEALING MDSE, 3RD OFF. C266 S30A

Rose Hurst, 57, 26 Lyndhurst in Boston, was observed by a loss prevention officer concealing $447 worth of clothing and exiting the store. Hurst was stopped and observed to be in possession of $308 of additional clothing from another store, brand new, with the tags still on. Hurst was placed under arrest for shoplifting, receiving stolen property under $1200, criminal trespass after notice, and warrants.

Cleve Frederick, 21, 39 Maxwell Street in Dorchester, was placed under arrest for Larceny Over $1200. Frederick allegedly stole items from his place of work for a period of four months. The employer reported a loss of $5105.58 and none of the items were recovered.

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Massachusetts Avenue near Prospect Street. As a result of the motor vehicle stop, a Charlestown resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for operating a motor vehicle on a public way with a revoked registration status and operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance.
