Cambridge Police arrested one Zachary Williams, 27, 51 Baystate Avenue in Somerville, on a warrant issued by Somerville District Court. Williams was also found to be in violation of his sex offender registration obligations and will face an additional charge of Sex Offender Fail to Register.

Cambridge Police observed a motor vehicle blocking the bike lane on Massachusetts Avenue. A query of the vehicle's registration revealed that the registration was revoked for insurance purposes. The vehicle was towed and the owner/operator, a Boston resident, was summonsed to court for the following offenses Operating Motor Vehicle with Registration Revoked, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Motor Vehicle Blocking Bicycle Lane.

At approximately 9:25 p.m., Cambridge Police were alerted to an assault that occurred in the area of Brattle Street. Upon investigation, a female suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for evaluation. The assailant was described as an approximate 55-60 year old white male with shoulder length grey/brown hair wearing a green puffy jacket, black backpack, and a "rasta" style hat. An area search for the suspect yielded negative results.

At 1:14 a.m., Cambridge Police arrested Ian Millard, 29, 872 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge for one charge of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, With a Firearm, and one charge of Malicious Destruction of Property. A victim stated that Millard approached him on the street, pulled out a black handgun, pointed it at his chest, and stated "how about now motherfucker." Millard then went to a nearby restaurant and placed the handgun to the window when he was not allowed entry. Millard was located by officers at a nearby residence and placed under arrest. A black BB pistol, with no orange tip, was recovered from the residence.

FRANKLIN ST
At approximately 5 p.m., Brian Willis, 48, 12 Lowell Street in Waltham, and Jamie Driscoll, 53, 4 Nancy Ann Lane in Nantucket were arrested and charged with Open and Gross. A Boston woman was summonsed and charged with Open and Gross. The woman was observed by the victims performing oral sex on Willis and Discoll openly and in a parking lot. The three parties were in the rear of a church parking lot in broad daylight. There was at least 7 multi-story apartment buildings in plain view of where the act took place. The two victims were alarmed by this behavior.

Cambridge Police initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Douglas Street. After a random inquiry showed the owner/operator of the motor vehicle had a current license status of "Suspended". As a result, a Lawrence resident was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle After License Suspension, and his motor vehicle was towed.

Cambridge Police Officers responded to the inbound side of the MBTA Redline for a male party who was involved in a shoplifting from a local pharmacy on Massachusetts Avenue. A Boston resident was identified by an employee who saw him steal $62.79 of soap. Martinez was still in possession of all the stolen products upon police arrival. The Boston resident was subsequently issued a Criminal Application for a summons for Shoplifting by Asportation and trespassed from the pharmacy by a store employee, prior to his departure.
