CONCORD AVE
ECC dispatched CPD units with Pro EMS to Concord Avenue and Huron Avenue for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The pedestrian refused medical after sustaining minor injuries, and the operator was cited for failure to yield right of way to a pedestrian in the crosswalk.

A Cambridge resident was summonsed to court for Assault and Battery on Ambulance Personnel, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer and Assault. The resident wildly and purposely spit in the direction of four police officers and two ambulance personnel. The spit struck both ambulance personnel and one officer.

A Cambridge resident came to the police station to report that she was the victim of an apartment scam. She gave a large amount of money to an individual online to secure an apartment only to find out that no such street number exists.

Employees from a Cambridge business reported the fraudulent loss of over $9,000. A former employee had reportedly fabricated payroll records over a period of several months resulting in the loss.

Cambridge Police observed a suspicious person on Green Street in Central Square. Upon further investigation, Tremel Smith, 44, homeless in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Assault and Battery.

AMES ST
A university student reported being assaulted on October 31, 2019 at approximately 4:40 p.m. The victim stated that he and friend were harassed while walking on Ames Street on October 26, 2019 by a group of three males. He was punched in the head by one male and later struck with a plastic construction barrier-pole. He was not seriously injured and the suspects fled.

A Charles Street resident reports that on 10/31/19 at approximately 2:26 p.m. they received a scam phone call from someone who claimed that their social security number was compromised. The victim provided the caller with some personal information before they realized the call was a scam.
