MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Patrick Kelly, 46, 1 Summit Avenue in Somerville, was arrested after he was stopped operating a motor vehicle on Columbia Street that spilled its unsecured construction load out of the bed of the vehicle at the Hampshire Street intersection. Kelly was operating the vehicle in a manner that placed the numerous pedestrians, bicyclists, and other motorist’s safety in jeopardy. A license query also revealed Kelly was operating a vehicle after a license suspension and had a warrant out of Waltham District Court for Operating After Suspension and Leaving the Scene of Property Damage.

A resident of Cambridge Street reported his bicycle stolen. The theft occurred on November 2, 2019 at 3 p.m., and surveillance shows a male enter the parking garage to his residence and steal the bicycle.

Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue and Pearl Street and placed William Nelson, 54, 85 East Newton Street in Boston under arrest for a warrant issued out of Waltham District Court for Larceny from a Building, Break into Depository, and Breaking and Entering into a Building, Nighttime, and a warrant issued out of Waltham District Court for Shoplifting by Asportation, and Trespassing.

An employee of a restaurant in Harvard Square reported a larceny. Sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. yesterday, a suspect stole a pair of Beats Solo 3 headphones from a back room where employees store their belongings.

A Watertown resident was Summonsed for Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration. She was observed operating her motor vehicle on a public way and during an inquiry it was determined the vehicle's registration was revoked. She was issued a criminal complaint and the vehicle was towed.

Cambridge Police observed a blue Honda accord operating on Mt. Auburn Street. A query of the vehicle revealed that the vehicle registration was currently revoked. The vehicle was subsequently towed and the owner/operator, a Lawrence resident, was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Operating a vehicle with a revoked registration.
