UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV C90 S10

GORE ST
Cambridge Police responded to Third Street and Gore Street in regards to a motor vehicle crash. A pedestrian was crossing the intersection in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a motor vehicle. Officers discovered that the operator does not have a valid driver's license. As a result, a resident of Somerville is being summonsed to court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a crosswalk violation.

On 12/19/2019, Brian Lastage, 18, homeless of Boston, was arrested for malicious destruction of property and breaking and entering after an employee of a Church Street establishment witnessed him kicking in a window of the establishment and entering the establishment.

On 12/19/2019, Cambridge Police responded to a business on Mass Ave for an individual who was currently shoplifting. When officers arrived on scene, employees pointed out a female -- later identified as Krystal Capozzoli, 40, of 65 Valley Street, Medford -- and stated that Capozzoli put multiple items down her shirt. Capozzoli was placed under arrest and charged with Shoplifting by Asportation. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Capozolli also had a warrant for her arrest for Sexual Conduct for a Fee out of Medford District Court.

On 12/19/2019, a Cambridge resident was summonsed to court after officers discovered that he was operating a motor vehicle without a license during a traffic stop.

On 12/19/2019, Cambridge Police officers observed a motor vehicle take the illegal left turn from Western Avenue onto Mass Ave. When the vehicle was pulled over it was discovered that the operator did not have a license. A resident of Medford was issued a citation and summonsed for operation without a license and improper turn.

On 12/19/2019, Cambridge Police responded to the Lechmere MBTA Station for a report of an attempted armed robbery involving a bag. Two suspects were stopped, however, neither was in possession of any weapons.

On 12/19/2019 Renato Pignataro, 33, of 359 Green Street, Cambridge, was arrested by Cambridge Police after taking a sharp edged tool and threatening the hospital security staff with it at a local hospital. Pignataro was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

On 12/19/2019, officers responded to a Central Square establishment for reports of a male party sleeping in the restroom refusing to leave. This individual was identified as Peter Mundowa, 32, of 402 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge.Mundowa was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Boston District Court for accosting and annoying another person, as well as a warrant from East Boston District Court for assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon.
